[Ghost Story Part 2]
I could only do one thing, the logical thing, leave, right?
I'm trying to convince myself, this is not happening, can't be
I still get freaked out thinking about it
Makes my blood run cold
So I'd leave to the picnic ground
This was maybe the middle of the night, primetime
And I'm sayin this ain't there, it ain't be happening, it can't be
I was, I was all alone tripping out
I sit down on the picnic table, trying to reason it
And as I sat down, the thing came across the grass
And sat down three picnic tables over
So I could only do one thing, and that's what?
Try to communicate, right?
So I had gotten my nerve up
And all I could think of to say was "How you doin?"
But that's fuckin' stupid right, cause he's Hawaiian
I had, I had to be speaking Hawaiian and I couldn't do that
So the thing sits there one picnic table between us
It's just, it's got no eyes but it's fuckin starin' at me
And I couldn't take it, I had to leave
You know what, I was trapped, you know why?
Because the rain had told me
And the goddamn river had come across the road
And you couldn't even drive a car I mean it was fast and fierce
And if you tried to walk across, it would take you away
So I stood there staring at the goddamn flooded river
Waiting for the fucking ghost to come down on my back
No more, yeah?
Cause after it's staring at me with no eyes, it freaked me out
And I had to go, I just knew I had to go cause this shit is unholy
You know? But now I'm stuck
And it had to be the same, the same cop that arrested me
Came down here in his fucking cop car
He was coming down the road like a fucking animal
With all the lights on
And it seemed like he was going a hundred fucking miles an hour
So I'm like, "fuckin', the cops" and I dove into the bushes
And he hit that river and skipped right through it
And he did a fucking donut in the parking lot with the searchlight on
And then in a split second he was gone
He peeled out, ran through the river again and he was gone
And when I crawled out of the bushes, the ghost was gone
And I knew, I knew if the cop could jump the river, so could I
I got the rent-a-car and then fired it up
Redlined and skipped across the river and I was outta there
Didn't look back
I ain't been back since cause they got a warning from jumping Baea
Adios Oahu, read the book, the key stuff, take the mushrooms
And sit on the Poly coast and tell me if it ain't haunted
