Hear the tick tock of a clock, that doesn’t work now
Waiting for the end of a world, about to burn down

Haunted by a past life and never got free
Lost leaves in the trees, never grew back
Think it’s for the best but there’s not a way to prove that

The dark knows me well, without day
I ghost myself and go away
Takes a minute to be and come back

Well aware of all my tendencies
How I love hard then leave, with only memories
My response to what I want, fight or flight
Used to chase it all night like a lightning strike
Used to go into the storm with the worst rain
Forget my own self, in hell, what’s my first name?
Who am I, and am I asking to forget?
Where are we and whose the captain of the ship?
