Doing some gardening in spring
I’m pulling out the weeds
With my whole being
On my hands and knees
While my dog eats a leaf
All the calling seeds –

To make the earth sing
I love the feeling

As the wind blows in –
It brings the smell of smoke from the mountains west of here
As far as feelings go, I feel all the way from here
Of all the seeds we sow, some go dark and some go clear
And here I go – I’ll plant some right here –
