Initially released on BBC Radio 2 on the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, “From Out of Nowhere” is the first single from Jeff Lynne’s ELO’s album of the same name.
When discussing the song on-air, Lynne said that the song truly came “out of nowhere” which inspired the title of the song and the album.
[Verse 1]
From out of nowhere
I see you come rollin'
I wonder how could it be real
I can't believe what you did
And you showed up here
[Verse 2]
Rain keeps on falling
And voices keep calling
But nobody knows where to go
You get the feelin' that
Everything's gonna blow
[Chorus]
Let me go (Let me go)
Let me fly (Let me fly)
To a place (To a place)
That I love (That I love)
Let me fly away
And start again
[Verse 3]
From out of nowhere
I see you come rollin'
I know what you got on your mind
I would consider explaining
The plot would be kind
[Chorus]
Let me go (Let me go)
Let me fly (Let me fly)
To a place (To a place)
That I love (That I love)
Let me fly away
And start again
[Chorus]
Let me go (Let me go)
Let me fly (Let me fly)
To a place (To a place)
That I love (That I love)
Let me fly away
And start again
[Chorus]
Let me go (Let me go)
Let me fly (Let me fly)
To a place (To a place)
That I love (That I love)
Let me fly away
And start again
