You’ll have to forgive me for gettin’ ahead of myself (yeah)
All I been focused on lately is money and wellness and family and health
I could think back to a time when my pockets were empty, weren’t doing too well
Instead I just look towards the future with music in mind that I know’s gonna sell
Lately I’m workin’, investin’ my time and I know it’s just drops in the pail
Like waves in the ocean we always in motion and your boat it ain’t got no sail (aye)
Not rich but I’m straight and I’m feelin’ amazin’ man this is our world for the takin’
It’s okay if they hate, I got trust in my faith and I know it’ll all come with patience

I been talkin’ to god, been writin’ a lot, make lists for the things that I’m grateful
When it comes to my ex I still wish you the best, but at times I feel bitter and hateful
People change on a dime and that’s life and that’s fine but it’s just not the way I was raised though
When they say that they got me I’m taking it lightly, its really like shit if you say so
Show it and prove it, my life is just music, record and I work at the venues
Music’s inclusive don’t matter who you is regardless of shit that you been through
