First And Goal

It all started with a pick six
The quarterback's mistake led to this
All I'm thinking of is getting this win
It's funny cuz I'm super thin, I look like a running stick
Completely possessed by the adrenaline
My muscles burning so hot, my heart feeling like it could stop
Runnin' to the end zone, the clock won't tick and tock
Time so slow, I could be wiping people's cars with a mop

Then all of a sudden I fall to the turf, headfirst, "OH NO!"
The moment was ruined, this felt like the 49th Super Bowl
Wow, I was so embarrassed my heart felt like it wasn't whole
