Fever Dream was originally released on 31st August 2016 as part of Heavy Heart’s song-a-month project. It was later released as the seventh track on the band’s 2017 album, ‘Keepsake’.
Did we grow up?
Formative years
Lillies in black
We just stayed here
(You fucking funny, funny guy)
I'm all alone, just go away
(Hang your insides out to dry)
I know you want me in your sway
(A sour-flavoured fever dream)
I'm all alone just go away
(Blaming you I hurt myself)
Hollow head, hope for it
Did you say you're over it?
My words got lost
Deafeningly
Cotton wool mouth
Spits when it speaks
(A ceremony coming down)
I'm all alone, just go away
(All repeating empty vows)
I know you want me in your sway
(Brick yourself up in your house)
I'm all alone, just go away
Oh
(Mother, Father, love another)
Hollow head, hope for it
Did you say you're over it?
I'm not done, I'm awake
I'm all alone, just go away
I'm all alone, just go away
I'm all alone, just go away
I'm all alone, just go away
