My friend,
Beauty is naught but the glory of God above.
The ghost you saw was no earthly specter
Rather,
The Lord of heavenly hosts
Who descended upon you like flame
–just the same
As the Apostles and the Holy Ghost.
It is this Spirit, then
Who touches the heart.
It is this Spirit who enlightens the mind,
And this Spirit, who, with fervent patience, tends to the soul,
Expressing its love divine.
