[Verse 1]
I follow the traces
She moves on the sand
Like echoes of laughter
From a far away land
[Chorus]
Patterns she makes
In the eyes of the moon
When she's dancing like a child
In and out of tune
[Verse 2]
Like ghosts on the shore
We move out of sight
The neighbours they whisper
'Neath the black satin skies
[Chorus]
Patterns she makes
In the eyes of the moon
When she's dancing like a child
In and out of tune
[Instrumental]
[Verse 3]
She walks on the water
Blind I was led
She gave me her cross
And like Jesus I bled
[Chorus]
Patterns she makes
In the eyes of the moon
When she's dancing like a child
In and out of tune
In the eyes of the moon
In the eyes of the moon
In the eyes of the moon
In the eyes of the moon

Ian Skelly:
Probably my favorite track on the album. It’s got that Wrecking Crew sort of bouncy, country funk feel.
James Skelly:
We got Niamh [Rowe of The Sundowners] in to do a vocal from the ether, from the netherworld. […] We wanted to do a “Johnny Remember Me”-type ghost vocal.
