As the pod peels back its husk revealing cosmic terror
An interstellar traveler’s screams are quickly silenced

Slime encrusted finger spring forth
Grasping the host by the head
Violently its tail wraps
Around the throat squeezing the life
Of the victim

The explosion of terror is rapidly silenced as the screams quickly subside
In a deep dreamless sleep
Implanting deadly life
In order to bring doom

Violently life springs forth from death in an unholy gory mess

Unending terror
From the depths of space
Bent on destruction
With no reluctance

With acid for blood and strength more powerful than any known animal
It will take its rightful place
