Every Rose

Every Rose must die
Despite the crimson in her heart
I buried you in the dark
....deep in my heart

And I wondered around in that dark
Waiting for my new life to start
In the morning mist
Thousands of Roses
With their babies at their breasts

We´re all made of love;
Love and other stuff
Like hunger and need
Blooming like Roses
Or lying lifeless in the weeds

Every Rose is precious
And every Rose must give
Reflections of the greater love
By which we all must live
