Empty Streets

I walked down an empty street as it was raining, and the raindrops hit the ground to make a reflection of myself down
I still stare at it while I’m walking by all the fucking empty streets, no people around
I’m wondering if I’m gonna stay stuck inside my mind all this time
“What has the world come to?”
I walk down an empty street until eventually I find a dead end
I look back, there’s a group of people staring at me
No sounds
Just the sounds of fucking electricity humming from the streetlights and the raindrops hitting the ground
One walked up to me, he said
“kid, where are you going? You seem lost“
I said, “I’m just walking down the street tryna get my mind together, remembering all the things from the past, I’m tryna fix all this shit, all my regrets that I have lost within me, I’m tryna run away from all the pain, from all my problems, can’t you see? when I walk down here, all this rain makes my teardrops get hidden, even if you looked directly into my eyes you wouldn’t notice all this fucking suffering that I go through”
