These are on-the-spot Poems written for the Russell Brand podcast which came out on AudioBoom. Russell & Matt would chat for 40 mins & I would then try to link their main themes into an instant poem & then recite it.
I usually threw in some references of my own, based on whatever I was...
There are those who tap on windows,
And those who knock on doors,
Those who sing songs of respect,
Those who snub,
And those who are ignored,
Who controls where we're coming from?
Claiming the wisdom of Solomon,
Does the Illuminati really control the world,
Even the flies in our poppadoms?
So cry me no rivers, move me no mountains,
Does seeking refuge in the past,
Spare us from the crystal glass clarity,
Of a mystical fountain?
We all start the countdown with Life's numbers,
Where a showbiz sage can learn to expect,
Some things are better to remember,
And some things are better to forget,
