Dreams of Another Life

Living outside amongst the trees
In a hammock swaying breeze
It’s all content as I take it in
Oh what a life it could’ve been

I see it now n then over there
Where my dreams go pay their fare
To get right through and up to me
Only a handful have some meaning

The ones who get in stick around
To bring my clear face to a frown
Show themselves in their truest form
Mixing my emotions like a crazy storm
