Dragonfly on my window screen
I was on my knees praying for her heart to beat
I thought that God could do (He could do) anything
But didn’t seem to be listening

& I couldn’t sing “it is well with my soul”
Took everything - trying not to lose control
& then I looked up and looked out my window
& noticed something so beautiful
