If I had dollar
For every dollar
I gave to Momma
I’d have a dollar

That time she needed
Some change for parking
I dug in my jeans
Well I got this, cha-thing

I don’t pay her phone bill but
I’m a good daughter
I give her calls every week

Might look at me not
See a good daughter
But that’s not what Momma thinks

My niece is fourteen
She looks at my life
Sees all the things I lack

She learned from my example
When she grows up
