[Verse 1]
Time circles in my mind
Leads me through the veil of a dream
And the distance in between
Smiles linger for a while
And leave me through the heartbroken sea
And the distance in between
[Chorus]
Through the veil I will catch you
I will come to your door
I will crawl through the latches
And I’ll kiss you like before
How could I be sure?
[Verse 2]
Red skies hanging over me
Leads me on to this final scene
And the distance in between
[Chorus]
Through the veil I will catch you
I will come to your door
I will crawl through the latches
And I’ll kiss you like before
How could I be sure?
[Instrumental]
[Chorus]
Through the veil I will catch you
I will come to your door
I will crawl through the latches
And I’ll kiss you like before
How could I be sure?
Distance Inbetween was written by James Skelly.
Distance Inbetween was produced by The Coral & Rich Turvey.
The Coral released Distance Inbetween on Fri Mar 04 2016.
According to James Skelly:
This is the oldest song on the album. We messed around with it on Butterfly House, but could never get the right arrangement. Molloy’s guitar solo is one of my favourite parts on a Coral track. Ian had this idea of the track sounding like a psychedelic B.B. King.
