i’m scared, i’m afraid. as my days are numbered
the symptoms of me failing have started to burst

awhile i stay, till my deepest slumber
infinitely initiates my downfall

a fragment in time, a fraction in life
it leads to the stage when the tick of my clock breaks
imperceptibly destined to fade

i’m frozen in fear, my valour’s been conquered
the rhythm of my cardiac has stopped, will it hurt?
