Tentacles arise, an enigmatic and sublime
With gelid orbs, a force beyond our paradigm
Torrential deliure, gawkers straights, and symphony of might
Submerged are the city streets in phantasmal realm of blight
Once proud roads now spectral and all ashen
Lost in the depths of their aqueous assassin
Oh, harken to the cries, sirens mournful breath
In squids cold clutches they embrace their death
Colossal limbs, sinuous in their grace
Wielding dominion in this twilight open space
