I'm the deathbird calling on your name at midnight
Nightmare crawling up from out of your heart
Dark wraith haunting every part of your life
Knife teeth sinking in to feed on your light
Coming from the land of dusk and phantoms
Wandering the halls of ruined castles
Listening to the howls of the children of the night
What music they make, how pleasant their sight
They call me vampire, ancient fear awakened
These stones have known my name for years uncounted
From a knight to a king to a being of dread
Moss gnaws at my bones yet I still am not dead
I remember a time now long forgotten
When blood used to run down from the lichen
Now only nature reigns around my throne
From the lonely towers to my crypt and coffin
I'm the deathbird calling on your name at midnight
Nightmare crawling up from out of your heart
Dark wraith haunting every part of your life
Knife teeth sinking in to feed on your light
