Say I wanna talk and you said you'd phone me

My advice to anyone who wants to live a life like this
It's only temporary
So why are you complaining
We're all just floating on by
Sometimes you'd know laughing highs
When curse to crisis hits you by surprise

Yeah but mostly
Mostly we're just standing so still
Time ticking on fractured stilts
And believe me there's nothing
Practically nothing you can do
To control the things that happen to you
So smile, yeah smile and float on by
