Dear Ron
Thanks so much for inviting me to write to your project about friends. Though you might find it easier to write a tourist guide in search for an underground over here. What do you mean by underground anyway? Do you mean secret, undercover? Or do you imagine the underground as radical and unconventional. I think there exists a bit more of the latter than the former in this particular case. My doctor just got back from four months in Rwanda. He's more underground than anyone I know. He seems to understand the sick, deep undercurrents that run through man. The control, and kill, and to fight. He smokes dope, comes to clubs I DJ in and brings good whiskey. He also asks me for any medicine I haven't used or finished, so that he can help out the families that don't receive Social Security benefits. But maybe you're thinking of an underground organizing to take over the government. Well, it's a tongue-in-cheek joke, but the Communist Party is the underground now. For the Presidency they haven't got a monkey's chance, but they try anyway. There must be someone opposed to the government in a radical way. If this is what you're thinking, you might better look towards Moscow. I'll check out Cassie Scans Anarchist on my Minitel Information System and try to find out. You know I'm joking, don't you? I'll contact you again soon if I think I can write something. I look forward to meeting you here in Paris
Yours truly
Black Sifichi
P.S. 'Underground' means 'unrealistic' in the direct Parisian translation
