Daylight

I was born on a endless highway
With nothing to fear or to lose
Like an unwritten page in a new book
I learned how to walk and to get through

I grew up in a small town of Sweden
In a house not so far from the sea
I was raised all alone by my mother
She taught me what’s right and what’s wrong

I was blinded by life and it’s darkness
I was trying to find my way out
I met people who loved me and hurt me
Till the crack showed the way to daylight

There’s so many chapters unwritten
Even between you and me
But the pages of life can be painful
