We’re livin' day to day
I don’t know my neighbor’s name
The laundry stacks so high I need to put the clothes away
So many paths in life, when opportunity knocks I close a way
Open up a different door, in store are smiles on display
Purchase one, check the back, it was fake
Society only sells what more money will take
The cure to happiness isn’t something a company can make
And speaking out against their lies likely puts my body at stake
Roasting me for roasting them, my body as steak
I’m the next meal on the plate, remember the grade
Failure to one, may to the next taste great
We tend to take a poor, experience, label as relate
But does misery like company, or company like misery
Because bankruptcy would flourish if we didn’t need dependency
A drug for an addiction, a pill for nothing at all
To cure the placebo sickness, don’t get therapy involved
That might actually help, cut down wealth
No one matters but the 1%, number hits close to your health and it
Drives me to the wall, I try to brake but it’s all auto
I can’t control my car, sitting in the passenger while tech programs from afar
Their systems are perfect, which means the crash was my purpose
My unrightful doing while sitting there just observing
The court needs an earning, my pockets proposed as deserving
To be plucked, now what?
Leave me with nothing left and I’m not supposed to get upset?
Twiddle my thumbs, no rain check for a storm that hasn’t happened yet
Which path gives right to an accident?
Deforestation clears purposely via ax indent
People getting upset when they call support, due to accent
Jumping for joy while paid at my trial, jury duty absence
Stop working to try and end my career
Only gets me further, lazy never perseveres
Talk it over with your peers
A funeral should not include beers
Unless your judgment truly is crystal clear
The laundries still high
The neighbor walks by
We still don’t say hi
Maybe next time, cause frankly
Tomorrow becomes today when you’re livin'… day to day
