Couples Therapy (Interlude)

It's a silly reason for writing this song
I saw this TV show with people going to couples therapy
And something that I thought was very moving
It's all these couples who are in a really bad place
And how fast it can go from them being super polite
And super nice to each other and then suddenly
Someone says something and then all hell breaks loose
And they says these horrible, horrible things to each other
And I think that's just so sad, its a sad place to be
I don't think I've tried being in that place with a partner
I've been to a lot of other terrible places but not that place
Where there's so much built-up resentment
That it can really quickly go from nothing to a huge problem
