“Cool” was first released through Frances Grove’s 2020 album, “Windows,” as the sixth track. The song was re-released as a standalone track on April 2nd, 2021 through Bandcamp. Then the song was included on the band’s 2023 EP, “To Hug a Stranger (Demo).”
[Verse 1]
Everyone knows I’m too cool for you
You’ve got your black clothes
And pen tattoos
Your newspaper paintings and
Pink colored hating
I thought you were cool
And I’m a fool
For thinking you were too
[Chorus]
Go back to where you came from and take me off your leash
You think that you are better
But I know that you’re sadder
And I hate that I met
I hate it
[Verse 2]
Never thought that I’d get stuck on you
I’m embarrassed now
Oh, I’ll bury it down
Too deep even for you
[Chorus]
Go back to where you came from and take me off your leash
You think that you are better
But I know that you’re sadder
And I hate that I met
I hate it
