“Conversation” is the second single release for Kojey Radical’s second studio album “Don’t look down”. The single, released on July 10th, was accompanied by an album trailer promoting his new album releasing September 19th.
[Verse 1]
And I still don't watch the news
It's the same damn song
The lady in the red sing the blues
And I don't know the tune
Maybe I'm out of touch, it's too much
Still feeling like, "What more can I do?"
Someone tell me the truth
[Chorus]
Let's have a conversation
Someone tell me the truth
What's the hesitation?
Someone tell me the truth
We have a situation
What the hell are we to do? Oh God
What's the hesitation?
Let's have a conversation
[Verse 2]
Growing up
Price going up, stress going up
Life slowing up, still growing up
Way too numb, not giving a fuck
Why did my twenties go by so soon?
They said it was good, they lied to you
Heart was heavy, your mind was full
Your weapon of choice was tried and true
[Bridge]
Sip, sip, sip
Till you can't keep it bottled up
Dig, dig dig
As if you wasn't deep enough
Rich, stay rich
While you run from those officers
Wah, still broke, like how?
Someone tell me the truth
[Chorus]
Let's have a conversation
Someone tell me the truth
What's the hesitation?
Someone tell me the truth
We have a situation
What the hell are we to do? Oh God
What's the hesitation?
Let's have a conversation
[Instrumental Break]
[Outro]
Let's have a conversation
What's the hesitation?
We have a situation
What the hell are we to do? Oh God
What's the hesitation?
Let's have a conversation

We’re into the angsty part of the album. The rat race of life. Trying to understand the transition between your twenties and your thirties and put what that feels like into audio format. Having to be a provider, an understander and an activist all in one day, because the powers that be aren’t doing...
