Breaking in your trust, standing in the grey
Twisting in your blood, dancing in your pain
You are what you are, insecure and lost
Clutching at your heart, circling a thought
Plucking at the wound, biting at the stitch
Eyes upon the alter, fire upon the skin
Every man will enter
Every man will fall
In this chamber, let the nothing in
In this chamber, fall into your suffering now
Is it lack of faith that has brought you here?
Have your gods betrayed you in the wake of fear?
Now you blindly run toward the dark below
Search among the ruins of the life you know
Burning through the skin, fighting through the tears
It was your deception that has drawn you near
Every man will enter
Every man will fall
In this chamber, let the nothing in
In this chamber, fall into your suffering
In this chamber, let the nothing in
In this chamber, fall into your suffering now
The past is always present when I want it - the REAL past, not an image of it. I can summon it, and there it is. The same with the future. I can summon it out of the unborn ages, and there it is. Before my eyes, alive and real, a creation of the imagination. Oh these troublesome limitations of yours. Your race cannot even conceive of something being made out of nothing. I am aware of it, your learned men and philosophers are always confessing it. They say there had to be something to start with - meaning a solid, a substance - to build the world out of. It is perfectly simple - it was built out of thought
