[Spoken Verse]
We start our story almost a year ago
Months of cold wet winter nights rocked them to their bones
But they had a dream
They had a vision
They tried doing things in what was socially seen as the right way before
Only for it to end so drastically, backstabbing and betrayal
Left a bitter taste in their mouths
But never again, That's why we're here now
Forget an investor forget banks lawyers
They were to be self made
But the fall was faster than the rise
So much money so little time
All they'd merely get is a tempting taste a sample
As a divine banquet was dangled before them
Only for them to be ushered away from the feast after just an appetizer
An empire raised to the ground, still driven to rise again
Building a new kingdom brick by brick but fewer seats than ever are taken at the table
The rest have been burnt to ash
Everyone that was there before has vanished without a trace
Only the truest of those few remain the rest to be forgotten forever
Reputation, respect, that's self defined
But the history is there the truth can never be hidden from prying eyes
Now we find ourselves on this journey, one brother free another trapped
Incarcerated at Hakea then transferred to Casuarina
Eight months later still on remand
None citizens don't get bail, yet to be sentenced
But dreams never die
The vision is fixed upon success and now it's time the story was heard
Let's let this conversation begin
