The title of this song is taken from one of the main characters, nicknamed Bunny Boy (his real name is unknown), in 1997 dystopian art film “Gummo”.
“Gummo” is also referenced in one of Dollanganger’s newer songs, “A Marvelous Persona”, which is a sound clip from one of the monologues in the movie.
[Verse 1]
Shotgunned cans like flowers
Drink yourself to death
Watch you fall asleep alone
Pissing the bed
Lock me up inside you
Where everything dies
Haunting me like a ghost
That’s never known a body
You can’t have mine
[Verse 2]
You’d cut off your nose
Just to spite your face
Just to serve it to me
On a silver tray
Shoot yourself in the head
Just to spray the guts
On your baby portraits
Flowerbeds and altars
Made out of bottles and vomit
[Outro]
No, I don’t love you anymore
