Broken mirror

Long ago, in a world that seemed so distant, ho, I used to see an unbroken image. So much time has passed since then that it feels like fiction. It's been so many days, and countless bad decisions that I made. And each one, it just shows as another break. And the child who used to run around and play has been long in the grave

Looking through this broken mirror I see every broken piece. And I'm not who I used to be. And I don't know if anyone can love me. So many failures and shame, flaws and pain. And my soul's been tied so many times that now, I'm the only one there is to blame. And every choice I make is another break, one more crack, one more thing that I see that I lack. More comparision to track, one more insecurity to full on [?] understand. Then I go and find another broken soul, tie myself to them so that I don't feel so alone. Use them as stitches to hold my wounds close and accept all their cracks as they become my own, long after they come
