Spit it from the chest, undivided
I ain't fucking with dichotomy
Bad little quest, you ain't fucking with my odyssey
It's a couple loved ones that I probably owe apologies to
And when I'm finished, I'm gon' holler at you
Double back and divvy up some big dollars with you
At nineteen, a nigga wasn't this knowledgeable
And now, I'm pushing twenty five with plenty lines to cut the tension
'Cause back in grade school, it was way cool to cut detention
Hit the fence and smoke a spliff, listen to some Brotha Lynch
And Andre Nickatina with a white girl and a beamer
Who was already flirting with that white girl as a senior
I done seen a whole lot of youth wrestle with the same demons
And I deem this whole lot of new muscle for your pancreas
Let's digest, let it all fall down, put it in the pyrex
Pot 'til it bubble to the top
Like the rock that them fiends couldn't stop smoking

This one for the homie still outside, chillin' on the bricks
This one for the spectators in the balance that's feeling this scribe
Describe how the rose grew from inside the concrete
Eventually, discovered thy fleet
I teach out of the trials and tribulations
Of real niggas with real problems, I will solve them
I kneel locked in and somehow that shit keep me still walking in step
The heart of El Shaddai pump in my chest
Mind of Al Capone when I'm alone and walking home from the liquor store
Telling myself this block poetry is all I know
