Better Dead

Time has ran away from him
He lost himself again
He can feel it in his bones

Pride, killed his self esteem
But what can a man do?
Other than letting himself down

Bound to somewhere in between insanity and hate
Sleepless nights, enjoy the pain

Fire is no longer within
A life without a care
But who's to say and who's to blame

Yet he feels, that love won't heal
His wounds

Curse his soul and life
Far away from light
Can't get out his head
He feels his fear will leave if he's dead
