BELIEVE IN THE POETRY

Staring at the hour glass, every grain a life that you want
Worried about the content of all of your scars
Whether it's a mirror in hand, puddle I stand, the same reflection of someone who is waving on

So hello! To the guy I want to be!
Goodbye to things not needed
I believe in the poetry!

(Don't be afraid to change your ways!)

And it's beyond your accolades and your status
The things in life you would otherwise miss!
But theres always time to make a change!
To chase the truth is like kissing flames but
Play the game long enough and you might just lose
The apple of your heart!

Its greater then me and its greater then you
Yet all is needed to piece the truth
The function of an object defines it's purpose
So choose what you do wisely!

Want a life behind the blinds but I hear the curtain call
Being worried because there's always pride before the fall
Could you put yourself out there and be courageous?
But so may who speak their minds are in glass cages
(Do you really want a normal job?)
(Or maybe I can learn not to need to be famous)
