Behind the Sky

I see winter ebb to summer, drips away
On another moon-bent cutter, float away
Amaranthine, orchid ocean, never fades
But I've nothing to say

Ageless absence, stars collapse and melt away
Reticent yet radiant they smear away
Veins of cerussite ignite the ivory shore
I need no more

These fading hands
I understand
This world and all that I can see
I feel not now
I know not how
But I hear Heaven call to me
Yearn for me, need to see
I want to see behind the sky

Flutter of the cloudless water, turns to tear
Mooring on the sand I shudder, feel no fear
Riptide bolide now at my side, soul set free
Pure harmony
