Beginning of the End, originally released for the third Bill and Ted movie “Bill and Ted: Face The Music,” is a part of Weezer’s album Van Weezer and depicts a future that attempts to destroy rock and roll.
There are a couple of differences between the Van Weezer version and the Wyld Stallyns remix...
[Verse 1]
Knocking on my door, they tell me it's time to go on
Last check in the mirror to see if anything's wrong
The writing's up on the wall
A warning shot to them all
It looks like this volcano's gonna blow
[Chorus]
My head is spinning
It's the beginning of the end
The people freak out when I walk out there, so scared
Ooh-ooh
[Verse 2]
Nostradamus predicted a bomb would drop
And all our guitars would be hung in an old pawn shop
But watch us brush off the dust
In heavy metal we trust
Then kick back and read The Sunday Times
[Chorus]
My head is spinning
It's the beginning of the end
The people frеak out when I walk out there, so scarеd
[Guitar Solo]
[Bridge]
Fifteen hundred thousand years
Wouldn't be enough to dry these tears
I'll still be here hanging on
And on and on
Things will never be the same
Save the pieces of your brain
(Scrounging and scavenging down in the dirt)
Better enjoy what you got
[Chorus]
My head is spinning
It's the beginning of the end
The people freak out when I walk out there, so scared
Ooh-ooh
