Now I been dropping albums for a while
But I don’t think it matters cuz I ain’t dropped an album in a while
I just keep my masters in a pile, let em graze

Of passing all this rapping out
To the blogs to keep a status that I’m out, I would rather be Out
I’d rather sacrifice it all to make that best
Possible music genuine
Then take that rest
Kill my buzz, start over with the blogs
Than feel like I’m making all these songs just to chase that press
A couple days ago
My publicist told me if you ain’t been hot in 2 years it’s like you’re starting over
And I’m cool with that, ‘cause I would rather rebuild from the ground up than try to drive a car with no motor

Outkast used to take 3 years to drop with a lead single that took 2 months just to catch on
And Sade drops barely once every fuckin' decade, But we still hit her concert for that passion
And you probably wouldn’t know it from those sad songs
But best believe she gets her Cash on and it lasts long
So don’t tell me that you gotta feed the beast, every 2 to 3 weeks to keep your flavor in their teeth
I’d rather drop a classic every 4 years and start from scratch
And wait for life to happen til a new sound can start that hatch
