Anyone But Jesus

Once I lived in darkness
I'd chosen not to see
Then Jesus came the way, the life
The truth to set me free
But in my fear I tried to hide
My Lord called me to His side
I threw away my foolish pride
And now I know why Jesus died

I remember days of lonely living
Giving me pleasure, pain and pride
Guilty, shame and emptiness
Lord a dead man lived inside me
But then you came into my night
Flooded it with your truth and light
Your gentle hands restored my sight
To save my life you were crucified

So if you're living in darkness
