Listen my Lord to this plea of mine
There are some answers I've been wanting to find
They say there are two ways that we all may go
One leads to paradise the other below

You're the bright lights I see mark the road I should take
Are they only for sight tell me before it’s too late
Like all of your children I'm a babe in your arms
Guide every step I take yes I know Satan’s charms

I go to dances take a drink now and then
I know it's not right but is it really a sin
Give me the answers which I waited so long
Show me the right way tell me the wrong
