Annihilation of the Most Empathetic Chamber

Down in the darkness
Hellhounds are barking
And it’s driving me mad
And then you crack a smile
Then you start to laugh
So I don’t feel so bad
And for a second I can relax

Last night I had a dream
That I could feel the pain
Of every living thing
But when I woke to see
You lying next to me
I just sat there and watched you sleep
Until the sunlight set me free

I can feel my nucleus shake
Like a microscopic earthquake
I can feel the stars collapsing in space
When I took one look at you
In your high heeled shoes
My head just burst into flames
They had to drag me away
The doctors all said I’d be OK
