The things that I've been through
I'm fighting my mental
Tears cover the sheets that I'm putting my pen to

So I kept it all in, became aloof and anti-social
Some time when on, you start to see a nigga grow too
I picked up this rapping and got lethal with these vocals
You start to pay attention to the light that people hold you
I'm the reason people hopeful
Everybody looking at me like I'm Goku
The weight of the world on the line
I only got two choices, ima fail or ima shine
And I gotta get mine, by any means necessary

Lord I just pray for the light that you shine on me
Don't know if I can take what you pile on me
I'm supposed to know what to do
The hopes of others on the shoulder of you
And I be trying to get my mind right
But I'm jaded from this twenty twenty hindsight
But my brother looked me in my eyes

So the knowledge I provide
But I still feel the pressure cause it's all on me

It's on me though, expected to deliver
Like a baby in labor, not too much pressure on a nigga
Success and failure, sometimes I weigh the scale

Like how much pressure can it be
Two parent household, nice home got clothes
