On May 17, 2017, I had the chance to interview an upcoming Christian rapper, Aaron Cole. He was featured on this months Genius Playlist on Spotify with his release of new single "Facts."

Can you explain the mind behind your new single "Facts?"

"Facts" were something that had been brewing in my heart for a while. I had started to feel myself feeling down because at the time I felt like I wasn't getting the recognition I wanted and something just clicked in me and I made that song saying I'm not compromising for anything and just gonna keep God at the forefront and listen to his plans for my life."Facts" was produced by Juice Bangers and Dirty Rice. Do you like working with those producers?

Yeah man! Me and Cobra work so much we have a connection. Especially me and Dirty Rice. We go way back, he knew me when I was 6 yrs old haha. So we gotta dope chemistry together man. It's crazy how God works!In "Facts," you rap "Compared to God in overrated like I'm James Harden." This is a great line but why do you think James Harden is overrated? I'm not going to lie, he's a great player.

This is the question everyone has been waiting for, James Harden is a good player but I'm a Chicago Bulls fan and the truth is the night before I wrote that line I was watching him play the Bulls and they killed us and I felt like us as a team were better (just like any die hard fan of they're favorite team). So that line just came out haha.Are you going to come out with a new project soon?

Maybe.... we'll see.Have any labels been interested in you since your previous release?
