The slow cerulean tide
Sways calmly like a dream
An icy veil, agleam
Months of darkness now subside
In the blue dawn, halos beam
Crystal motes
Rise and dance
Like fireflies teem
The rising sun reveals
Mirages from afar
Beneath winter’s fading stars
Coastal mountains rise like keels
Pierce horizons like jagged scars
A luring trance
Their expanse
Stirring yearning's wheels
Debark on this godforsaken shore
Cast fate to the wind and get going
Fangs like granite reapers soar
Where monstrous storms of pain are blowing
Brave the glacier tooth and claw
Grind a path to Fenrir's Jaw
Like a tombstone clad in hoar
Looming vast and ever growing
Soft, the flesh of the feeble beasts
That crawl, and nameless glory crave
Deaf to their own angels' screams
Like insects they squirm over their own grave
Rise in splendor
Or die with grandeur
When the avalanche falls
Alive or dismembered
No-one remembers
But the stone that with siren's tongue calls
Every step a spit in the eye
Of perdition waiting with sharpened blades
With every breath refuse to die
In rock and ice's vengeful cascades
Beckoning
A haunting choir
Deafening
The lifeless silence
A reckoning
For a fool's desire
Threatening
With disembodying violence
Crippling tempests
Blow rocks
Bigger than the heads they crush
One last push
To the summit
A godlike rush
Pull up the conquered lands below
Triumphant
Invincible
Like Atlas
Lifting the entire world
