As I'm getting older it feeling like time's passing so quickly
Minutes feel like seconds
Weeks feel like days
Years feel like months
I've had my mind so wrapped around success I've slowly forgotten everything else
I've become to self conscious about so many things
I remember when I was a kid everything was so simple
And it felt like everyone smiled more often
We all seem to live in this online world
Trapped on our own devices
Dreaming of something perfect that we see inside of it
As time progresses my perspective of my own self and beliefs are tarnished
And what's left but a troubled mind trying to stay afloat
