7th Clown in Heaven

Alabasters field
Kissed by a gentle breeze
And the trees above me say
I'll be back another day
Walking slowly down to the shore

The sea ain't scaring me
Those chilly strokes surround my feet
And the elements tell me stories
Some of them old and some of them coming
I sense the land on the other side
While all the shadows keep passing by

Rise and shine my eternal day
Don't you cry on my grave
When they row me to the other side
I'll burn my bridges and leave my home
At the end of a winding road
When the 7th clown in heaven smiles

So close to life I am
But still so close to the ferryman
I shrug in the evening breeze
And leave my tracks in the lonely sand
A pale star in the sign of Aries
Watching my steps with tenderness

The sound of oars like distant drums
And my life is still to come
When they row me to the other side
I trade my breath in another name
My souls's in a blue blue frame
