YOASOBI is a J-Pop duo comprised of vocaloid-producer and songwriter Ayase as well as vocalist ​ikura. The group formed in 2019, releasing their debut single “夜に駆ける (Yoru Ni Kakeru)” in December, which topped the Japanese Billboard charts for three consecutive weeks in June 2020.

The group formed after being contacted by Japanese creative-writing site Monogatary to create music inspired from original stories on their platform.

Their first album, THE BOOK, was released in January 2021.
