WACK, pseudonym of Martina Drudi, is an Italian singer, songwriter and musician.
Along with producer Fabio Salaroli, known professionally as 25Room, she founded the project in 2020.
Due to the pandemic Drudi and Salaroli spent most of their time shut inside the studio making music alongside other professionals such as Davide Eulogi, who contributed to the writing of some of the songs from the upcoming releases.
WACK’s music doesn’t belong to a fixed genre, it is in fact the result of experimentation in between genres such as new wave, new romantics, synthwave, industrial rock, 90s pop, emo rap – you name it.
Everything takes place at NoShoes, a
recording studio located in the Venice area where professional and human relations are deeply intertwined, making the place feel more like a collective than a mere workplace and consequently becoming a great source inspiration.
