About V. Rose

Vienna Rose Dare, better known as V. Rose (January 9, 1989), is an American singer-songwriter, musician, producer and entrepreneur based in Sacramento, California. She’s best known for her versatile musical style, with a range of influences going from pop to R&B and EDM, as well as her contributions to the development of the Christian Hip-Hop space.

Growing up in a Christian family, Rose took up singing at the age of six, and then made her passion fully faith-driven. In her teenage years, she formed the duo Harmony with a childhood friend: they subsequently signed a deal with producer Spec’s label Spechouse Media, and Rose maintained a contract even after the group’s ultimate folding.

After collaborating with Flame on his 2010 album Captured, she got added to the roster of the Christian rapper’s label, Clear Sight Music, under which she released both her self-titled debut album (2011) and her sophomore LP Forever After (2014).

In 2015, she moved to Nashville-based Inpop Records, releasing the EP Hearts Up and her third album Young Dangerous Heart (in 2016).

She has turned independent ever since, consolidating her position as an artist more and more through new releases (including her 2019 album Forth) and features, having linked up with the likes of Trip Lee, Derek Minor, Mission and Propaganda, among others.

In October 2020, she has also announced the official launch of her own record label, Indie West Music Group, which welcomed the R&B duo Lundi as their first signees.
