About The GTOs

The GTOs (Girls Together Outrageously) were a girl group or, to be specific, a groupie group. They were active from 1968 to 1970 with a reunion in 1974. They were mentored by Frank Zappa, who also produced their only album “Permanent Damage.” The most famous member of the group is Miss Pamela, who later wrote “I’m with the Band.” The other members were Miss Sandra, Miss Cinderella, Miss Christine, and Miss Mercy, with notable contributions from Miss Sparky.
