The Alan Bown Set (1965-1972), later known as “The Alan Bown!” and “Alan Bown” was a British group during the 1960s and 70s. Their music evolved from jazz and blues and ended up as psychedelia and progressive rock.

The band released four studio albums under three different labels and with three different vocalists. “Outward Bown” (November 1968), “The Alan Bown” (February 1970), “Listen” (November 1970) “Stretching Out” (August 1971).
